Train-the-Trainer Programs are
available for each of our management training programs. Each
Train-the-Trainer program is a product-specific training course that prepares
participants to deliver LLG training to their managers and supervisors. All
clients who want to deliver a LLG Management Training Program should attend a
Train-the-Trainer program.
Participants must complete
the specific management training course they want to be certified to teach, prior
to attending Train-the-Trainer. We recommend that each participant have
academic or corporate training experience. LLG does not train professionals “how”
to teach, as a skill; rather, focuses on preparing people to deliver
professional quality training of our management programs at a high level of consistency
and accuracy, using our content and methods.
Typical Goals of
Train-the-trainer Program Participants:
Becoming authorized by LLG
to deliver training on one or some of LLG’s programs;
Acquiring LLG training
materials for use in their organization; and
Learning best practices for LLG
training delivery.
LLG clients who acquire our
training materials will pay licensing and annual update fees.Participant workbooks must also be purchased
through LLG.Clients who request soft copy for
translation purposes may be provided such under legal
protections. For more information regarding licensing arrangements, please
contact LLG.
LLG’s Train-the-Trainer programs prepare candidates to deliver live,
instructor led training within their organization. LLG believes our Train-the-trainer programs and assessment/feedback model
provide solid indicators of candidates' performance and readiness to deliver LLG’s
management training courses. It should be understood that the learning curve
for teaching LLG’s courses extends well beyond the Train-the-Trainer program.
Typically, successful instructors have several years of training delivery and labor
relations or human resources experience.
Potential Duration of a Train-the-Trainer Program
As a general guideline, Train-the-Trainer classroom time will be two to three
times the duration of the program being learned. Candidate instructors also are
encouraged to study a minimum of two hours for every one hour of course
material. A complete program, including individual study, planning and
preparation, and classroom work, typically will elapse over one to two months.
Pricing will be based on the number of days of work by the LLG instructor in
preparation, classroom delivery, assessment, and follow up.
